Sharon Briss: Two Favorites Coupled Together

I love the great couple images in the new Snow Hugs collection so I thought it would be fun to couple together two of my favorite techniques - warhol and spotlighting!

These cards are quick and easy!

1) Stamp your image on three different colors of cardstock. Select a portion of the image that you want to showcase and punch out identical pieces out of each color using a square punch or cut using a paper cutter.

2) Mount your squares close together on a contrasting color and trim. I like to use the same color as my ink choice. Trimming after the mounting step lets you get a nice consistent border without stressing about it.

3) Stamp your main image again on to your cardbase. Line up your trio of mounted squares over your image so they line up. Voila! You've just combined warhol and spotlighting in a fast technique that will keep you hooked!

Why not try out this straightforward technique? You can't beat fun and easy!

Come back and link your creations to this post!
