Penny Bennington: Floriculture Notecards

Hello! I have a couple notecards to share that came about from just playing with the new Floriculture stamps. Isn't it fun to find different ways to use the same stamp?

In this first card, I stamped the flower using Distress inks in victorian velvet and shabby shutters. That panel is layered onto gold textured paper and a tissue taped background colored with the same victorian velvet Distress ink.

For the second card, I used the same flower stamp but combined it with one of the inchie squares from the Bits and Pieces set used as a shadow stamp and it kind of gives a cyanotype effect. I first inked the square with turquoise pigment ink and then "kissed" it with the flower stamp. After cutting out the inchies and edging them with gold Krylon pen, I added them to another tissue taped background. Simple and fun!
