Sharon Briss: Garden Greetings

Summer and gardening go hand in hand so I created some cards to celebrate some lovely flowers!

To start I smushed around some glossy cardstock in some distress inks and then stamped on top of that. I finished up by highlighting some areas in white with some simple paper piecing.

Le Jardin
Stamps: lily of the valley and sentiment from Floriculture plate (Rogue Redhead Designs)
Cardstock: Heavenly White, Glossy Premium White and Black Pearl Glossy (PaperTemptress)
Ink: Bundled Sage and Crushed Olive (Ranger Distress Ink); Jet Black (StazOn)
Embellishments: 5/8 Splitz Ribbon (Paper Temptress)
Technique: paper peicing

Summer Hello
Stamps: cosmos bud and checkered border from Floriculture plate and Hello from Bits and Pieces plate (Rogue Redhead Designs)
Cardstock: Periwinkle Treasures, Glossy Premium White, Heavenly White and Black Pearl Glossy (PaperTemptress)
Ink: Stormy Sky, Broken China and Tumbled Glass (Ranger Distress Ink); Jet Black (StazOn)
Embellishments: 5/8 Splitz Ribbon (Paper Temptress); 3 black brads
Technique: paper peicing

Hope you have time to stamp and garden this weekend! With the heat in my neighborhood, it looks I will only be stamping flowers rather than tending them.

  1. Such different styles which proves how versatile those stamps are.
    Definitely Take Ten style.

  2. Yep, too hot to garden outside, but you've created a couple of very pretty flower cards for us.

  3. Loving the CAS approach to these beautiful stamps it really shows them off well. x

Thanks for stopping by and telling us what you think!
