Technique Junkie RRD Blog Hop - Stop 2

Welcome to Stop #2 on the joint Rogue Redhead and Technique Junkies Blog Hop! We are all having loads of fun with the new Technique Junkies' 3D and Fun Folds CD!

The Technique Junkies team has joined us to showcase the numerous great techniques on this new CD. As you may know, the Technique Junkies Newsletter has been publishing rubber stamping technique tutorials since 2002. The 3D and Fun Folds CD contains 70 step-by-step technique tutorials in PDF format – perfect dimensions, perfect directions and great pictures for every step. Visit www.techniquejunkies.com for more details about the CD and the Technique Junkie Newsletter.

A fantastic group of design team members, from both Rogue Redhead Designs and the Technique Junkie Newsletter, have helped put together this fabulous Blog Hop to kick off the 3D and Fun Folds CD. Not only will the talented Technique Junkies team be hopping with the Rogue Crew today, they started hopping yesterday with Classy Cards N' Such and will be hopping again all the way through Friday one day each with PaperTemptress, Mark's Finest Papers, and Sweet n' Sassy Stamps. Check the The Technique Junkie Newsletter Blog for more details.

After visiting at RRD, you can head off to see Jackie Kalchert at Inky Fingers for your next stop.

To start you off with some yummy art, here is a lovely Double Twisted Easel by Rogue Crew member Beverly G.

Don't you just love her fabulous winter scene! All those great images, from the snowpeople to the trees to the mittens and sentiments, all come from the new RRD Candy Kisses half plate.

Even the swirls in lovely background sky and base come from this whimsical and versatile plate.

Our next sample for you uses a wonderful Double-slider design also from the 3D and Fun Folds CD. For this one, Sharon Briss has used the first RRD plate - Relish Reading.

Here's the card with the slider closed:

And here it is with the slider open:

A closer peek at the slider:

The great thing about this double-slider card is the double surprise when the tab is pulled. The back slider can contain an extra message or, Sharon created this one, to provide a background for the main message.

These are just two of the fabulous designs available on this great CD!

Keep hopping to see some more creations with techniques from the 3D and Fun Folds CD and Rogue Redhead Designs images!

I simply adore that double slider! Love the plaid and the theme of the reading and BOOKS. Great paper, and images!

All these people with their Kindles etc. They do not realize they are ruining lives by having these devices. These devices are putting PRINTERS and many employees of PUBLISHING houses out of work.

Books need to be treasured, and respected. Otherwise we are no better than Hitler who burned them!
You saw how the entire chain of "Borders" book stores went under.

Sorry I have to share this info any time I see or have the opportunity involving books. My late Father was a printer.

Anyway, I hope to treat myself to this CD after the holidays! I so want to try some of these wonderful creations I am seeing.
thanks for the great EYE CANDY!!
