Colleen Oxford: Patriotic Bears

My family and I had a great 4th of July and that put me in a very Patriotic mood :)
Fireworks, Grills, Sparklers, Family and Friends...what more could anyone ask for.

Stamps: Sitting bear and Honey comb from Getting Grizzly

Supplies:
Rogue Redhead Designs Getting Grizzly full-size plate
Stampin' Up Real Red, Island Indigo and Whisper White cardstocks
Stampin' Up Real Red, Basic Black and Island Indigo ink pads
Creative Memories red pen
Making Memories Red, White and Blue eyelets
Stampin' Up white ribbon
Adhesive, pop dots and glue dots

I made a Matchbook card with this fabulous set.

Score a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock widthwise at 10 1/8 and 4 7/8. Use a bone folder to make the creases.

Cut the sheet of paper in half lengthwise at 4 1/4 in. , this will make 2 cards.

Stamp along the top flap,  fold the top flap down and the bottom flap up. You can also stamp the flaps while folded so the image will be on top and bottom flaps. Press the folds with the bone folder the smooth them out

Attach ribbon on the inside of the bottom flap. Hold the bottom flap closed and punch holes for eyelets, then add eyelets. You want the holes to go all the way through to the back of the card and low enough so that the front of the card can still be lifted up, DON"T put the hole through the front of the card or you won't be able to open it.

Pop up matted image across front on the top flap. And finish off with another ribbon knotted to the other.
