Here's some easy ideas to get you started!

You can do a lot of different things with this color combination.  You can go complex and very inky like this sample.  I stamped a number of images onto a white panel using Versamark ink.  I sprinkled clear embossing powder over these inked images and heat embossed them.  I then sponged plum and lavender ink across the whole panel.  I used the lavender ink to over stamp the same image slightly offset to the embossed ones.  I then put the panel between two pieces of copy paper and ran a heated iron over the paper, removing the embossing powder.  Make sure to keep your panel between the sheets of copy paper when ironing as you don't want your iron to get embossing powder all over it!  I stamped the Sandy Beach Background with plum ink over the whole panel.  Finally, I added more images randomly using Paris Dusk Memento.  I matted the panel with navy cardstock and mounted it on a white card base.

, lily of the valley, sun, and Fleur from Floriculture, Sandy Beach background
from Beach Babes; Thinking of You from Bits and Pieces (Rogue Redhead Designs)

You could also go completely minimal with the colors like this Clean and Simple sample.  I simply stamped the cat onto a white card and cut the bottom portion of the panel so that the cat was sitting outside the area of the panel.  I stamped the cat onto a piece of purple designer paper, cut it out and pieced it onto the central panel.  I matted the central panel with navy blue and attached it to a white base card.

and cat from Just Sayin' (Rogue Redhead Designs)

Or you could do something in-between like the next two cards.  For the one below, I stamped the Sandy Beach background from Beach Babes and the Almanac Page background from Relish Reading onto white paper.  I sponged some additional lilac ink onto the background.  I then stamped the woman with Tuxedo Black Memento onto one panel of white and one panel of lilac cardstock after stamping it onto my inky background.   I colored the woman's head and neck on the white panel with copics and I cut the woman's coat out of the lilac cardstock.  I layered both of these pieces onto the inked background and then trimmed and matted it.  I added the sentiment and the panel to the white base card.

and Almanac Page from Relish Reading (Rogue Redhead Designs)

Finally, this card uses some paper piecing.  I stamped the central image, Dot from Milliner Misses, onto a piece of X-Press It blending paper and colored it with copics.  I also stamped the same image onto a piece of lilac plaid and a piece of lilac gingham.  I paper pieced these onto the white image.  I then matted the image in navy and added the additional layers of navy cardstock and designer paper.
