Colleen Oxford: Relish Holder

It's snowing again!!!
Yes, New England has woken to another white fluffy morning.

So I really wanted to create something with Warm Bright colors.
One's that we will hopefully be seeing soon :)

I started out with a plastic drink mix container.
Rogue Redhead's Relish Reading and Behind the Scenes stamp plates.
Stampin' Up's Tango Tangerine, Pacific Point and Real Red inks.

I cut a piece of flexible white paper and stamped the bubble wrap background stamp from Behind the Scenes using the stamp off technique to give some depth. Then I used the 2 book stamps from Relish Reading and randomly stamped around.

I then adhered the white paper around the container and glued some ribbon to the bottom.
On a separate piece of white paper I stamped the girl holding the book from Relish Reading, colored her in and stamped the sentiment on top. Finishing by cutting the image out, popping it up, adhering red flowers around the image and adding a few pearls.

  1. Colleen, you always have the best ideas! I love this holder- great idea, Debi x

  2. Lovely altered container! Great use of the Relish Reading stamps.
