The Craft Room is Going Rogue

Once again, RRD is having fun with our Craft Room friends and sponsoring their most recent challenge.

The delightful designers at The Craft Room are asking us to create something with the theme - In the Library.   They are looking for things such as books, stamps of books, mini books, altered books, pages from books, text, and script.

Our own Helene Huber is a guest artist for this challenge!  Isn't her sample fabulous?

Helene is a master of creating enchanting scenes by putting together lovely layers!  With this card, she has used her Relish Reading set to furnish us with a cozy scene with one reader enjoying her novel inside and two younger readers who can't seem to put their book down even outside! She has also added text aspects with the handwriting background from Behind the Scenes.   Find out more details on Helene's blog.

Of course, Rogue Crewer Debi Ryan is a full-time design team member over at the Craft Room. This week, she has created an altered book for her sample and it is totally delightful!

Debi has also turned to the Relish Reading plate for her mixed media piece!  Her cover shows our own Meagan reading in the garden.  Don't you just love all the amazing dimensional details that Debi has added!

Inside her book, Debi has created a delightful niche featuring our dear swinging children in a frame of flowers!  The soft colors and fabulous design keep bring you back to find even more detail.

To find out more about how Debi put this lovely piece together, check out her blog.

This two-week challenge will run until April 14th.  As you can see, there's a Rogue Redhead plate as a prize for the randomly drawn winner.

Why not play along?
