trisha too: last minute 4th of July decorating, and some good news

I had already altered some large canning jars, which were used as candle holders for a Rustic Elegant style wedding reception, but wanted something for our Independence Day celebration.  So I pulled out all my favorite Rogue background stamps and . . .

The tag in the foreground is stamped with the Almanac background the Relish Reading set.

. . . stamped all over the fronts and backs of a bunch of manilla tags.  Which was quite easy to do, since the backgrounds are a generous over-5 inches by 4 inches--makes for some NICE stamping:

(You have to admit, those really ARE yummy backgrounds!)

Then, I added a simple collage image and some red/white/blue trim, and tied the tag to the
already-altered canning jar:

Now the altered-altered jar is going to hold wildflowers and a flag.

You can tell I tied the patriotic trim right over that burlap, jute, and key embellishment--
move it on over, Rustic Elegant wedding, it's time for some 4th of July fireworks!

Here's the good news:  the Rogue backgrounds are now available as SINGLES.
So yes, you can have them ALL.  And trust me, you will want them all.
