Holiday Inspiration Club for April: Inch Your Way to the Holidays

Thanks to everyone who participated in last month's Holiday Inspiration Club prompt from guest Rogue, Holly Brown.  We had some excellent Do It Yourself Backgrounds!

This month, our daring Holiday doers will be asked to

Inchie Your Way to Christmas

Yup, that's right.  Use inchies on your holiday creations.  You can make cards, ATCs, decorations, or anything your heart desires as long as it contains at least one inchie!  For those who have not heard of inchies before, they are quite simply 1"x1" tiny bits of art.

I have created a variety of looks to inspire you.  As always, they are wicked simple so you can recreate them in singles or in bulk as desired.

This first one is a grid-based inchie project.  I punched out 6 images of the snowball-throwing bunny from Beatrix Potter's A Winter's Tale - all black ink, 5 on kraft and 1 on white.  I colored the white one with copic markers and mounted them all in a 2x3 grid pattern.

As most of my friends know, I am wild for spotlights.  Here is one which creates a little color highlight on a kraft and colored pencil image of Santa from the Christmas Cheer collection.  I added the colored inchie of Santa's face over top of a much more muted image.

My last card has inchies used as tiles on the silhouette image of Santa's sleigh, also from the Christmas Cheer collection.  I cut the image into 4 inchies and laid them against a red panel to create some contrast.  Love, love, love black, white and red, don't you?

While this club has been helping me get my Christmas cards done, I also like making the occasional ATC.  This one has just a hint of Christmas with the Precious Pair (Christmas Cheer) giving a sweet touch of the holidays with holly in their hair.

What will you make?  Add your creations to the linky below and share with the rest of the Rogue Stampers out there.

Play along with us and be super ahead on all your holiday card needs. Think about being able to actual RELAX during could happen!
