Helene Huber: A Valentine for You

Wishing you lots of love today!

It's my turn to post a sample so, of course, I made you a Valentine---using our brand new Winter Women stamp plate.

A couple of pointers:

1) I wasn't pleased with the color combo outcome of my original coloring on the hat so I re-stamped another hat with (Stampin' Up) cherry cobbler ink and colored with (Ranger) spun sugar, cut and pasted.  I like the 3-D effect--a mistake that turned into a positive.

2) Using the cherry cobbler marker, I individually stamped each word onto a heart from the style and grace sentiment stamp.

Krisha with a Little Kiss

Yes, it is that time of year again, time for hearts and flowers and a little kiss?    This cute image is part of a  S.W.A.L.K Stamps set now available at RRD.  It really is a larger image, but I just wanted to  use the little kiss part, and in doing this made me think of the first "real" kiss I got from a boy.  He had red hair and freckles, so this little guy got the same thing.

I am loving the new RRD release, Winter Women. These ladies are so sophisticated and elegant. This wonderful winter woman looks as if she is really weathering the cold and wind. Her background is a dry embossed pine branch and pine cone. I love the way that the beautiful frame brings your eye to focus on our lady. She certainly has style and grace.

Getting Sketchy with the Rogue Stampers

Today, I've got a quick and easy card using the February Rogue Sketch for the Rogue Stamper Facebook group! 

As you can see this sketch is great for using up all those exquisitely pretty scraps you have on hand and using them to maximum impact without using a ton of paper.

This card uses sweet little Alice from the new Winter Women plate just released yesterday! Isn't she a cutie?  I love that fabulous feather in her hat!
